We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!
We are currently recruiting for a Van Pack Assistant to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across the Malton Area, Yorkshire Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.

Working Hours & Location
* Location: Malton
About The Role
As a Van Pack Assistant, you will:
* Working closely with the Van Pack Operator in support of working as a 2 person team.
* Attending to customers, informing them of works due to be carried out and answering any concerns
* Support in Inspections of drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
* Reporting all findings / data to the appropriate teams
* Assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting
* Assisting the Van Pack Operator to operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
* Adjust pressure levels based on the condition of the system and the nature of the blockage (e.g., grease, debris, or tree roots).
* Use the equipment to remove waste materials and prevent build-up in drains and sewer lines.
* Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
* Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
* Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
Experience and Qualifications: (Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)
* Full UK driving license (Required)
* Water Jetting Association Red or blue book
* Banksman
* Manual Handling
* Emergency First Aid
* NRSWA
* EUSR National Water Hygiene
* Medium risk confined space
Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
