We’re looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us in working across both East Riddlesden Hall (ERH) and Hardcastle Crags (HC), which is near Hebden Bridge. If you’re brilliant at organisation and creating order, and love working with people and upholding high standards in service and presentation, then this role could be the role for you. Internally, you will be known as a 'Business Services Co-ordinator (place-based). Salary: £22,089.60 per annum (pro‑rated for 30 hrs/week), based on a full‑time equivalent salary of £27,612 per annum. Working Hours: 30 hours per week Working Pattern: The 30 hours will be worked across 4 days - one day a week at Hardcastle Crags and three days a week at East Riddlesden Hall. You will work one in three weekends according to a rota, as well as some Bank Holidays. Interviews: Tuesday 26th May, held in-person at East Riddlesden Hall. Contract Type: This is a fixed term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to last beyond 7th May 2027. What it's like to work here Both ERH and HC are busy places, with no two days being the same. Both sites are very different: ERH is a medium sized, hidden-gem of a mansion, with beautiful gardens and a packed Weddings and Events offer, whilst HC is an outdoor site with a small mill, surrounded by a stunning woodland and a river flowing by. As we are a small team, we work closely together across both sites, often needing to be flexible in our work to support each other by picking up different tasks. This post supports our teams in making sure we keep our compliance record systems up to date, keeping our finance systems accurate and will involve working alongside both staff and volunteers. What you'll be doing Generally, you’ll be supporting day-to-day operations, and being the first person that people see when they come into the office. Your advice and experience will be sought after by others beyond the office team. You’ll be a champion of best practice when it comes to business support, confident in using IT Microsoft Office systems, and will challenge the status quo when you think there’s a better way of doing something. Most of all, you'll be a team player, supporting colleagues to deliver our best for our people and places.
