GSL Education are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join schools in Sheffield. As a TA, you will assist with delivering lessons, provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: Support pupils individually or in small groups to enhance their learning. Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities. Help pupils build confidence, engagement, and independence in their learning. Prepare and organise classroom resources. Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. Requirements for Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate pupils. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and pupil needs. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
