* The GAA will work as an integral support to the Redaction Service and will be responsible for assisting in the provision of all administrative and clerical support.
* This will include all necessary liaison with both internal and external bodies, other Trusts and outside agencies. The post holder will assist the team in the search, retrieval, recording, security and redaction of files and all associated tasks required by the Redaction Service.
Setting Direction:
* To work with and support the Redaction Service to ensure both remit and objectives are met in relation to the redaction of Subject Access Requests.
* To assist in providing advice in relation to redaction to professional colleagues relating to the Service and their role as and when required.
* To liaise with and work under direction from the involved professionals in relation to "Live" case records subject to redaction.
Administration
* To assist in maintaining, monitoring and tracking of all Requests and records received to the Team.
* Assist in the preparation of reports in respect of the Family and Child Care Redaction Service and any other relevant information required.
* To assist in client / record searches across all data record platforms (Trim, Fileaway, Excel spreadsheets, SOSCARE, PARIS etc.).
* To attend meetings and assist in provision of all duties associated with Redaction Service as required.
* To assist in the preparation and presentation of information using Microsoft Office packages.
* Ensure all files, paperwork and documents are prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
* Assist Team Lead in supervision of staff as required.
Experience/
Qualifications/ Registration
1. 4 GCSEs Grade C or above, to include English (excluding English Literature) and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications and 2 years' administrative experience
OR
NVQ 2 in Administration and 2 years' experience in a clerical /administrative role
OR
Three years' administrative experience at Band 3
