Join Us as a Core Subject SEN/SEND Tutor in South Yorkshire!

We have multiple positions available and are continuously hiring to meet the diverse needs of our students.

At Targeted Provision, we are on a mission to revolutionize the educational experience for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are dedicated to supporting children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

We are seeking passionate SEN/SEND tutors who are eager to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in South Yorkshire. If you’re a qualified teacher ready to engage with students through 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed way, we want to hear from you!

Your Role as an SEN/SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible and holistic tutoring that is trauma-informed and tailored to each student’s needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver each tutoring session effectively.
* Create holistic and engaging learning experiences that advance students' educational and social-emotional development.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.


Requirements to Join Our Team:

* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.


Employment Status:

* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No set amount of work or expenses coverage is provided.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
