Overview
As our Regional Director for the UK, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how government works. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll drive new business and expand existing relationships within local and central government sectors. You'll shape strategy, build strong executive-level partnerships, and lead a passionate team focused on delivering remarkable outcomes. Reporting to our Global VP, Content Solutions, you'll bring a results-driven mindset, inspirational leadership, and a passion for making a difference.
Responsibilities
* Drive Growth: Lead Business Development Managers to hit ambitious UK and EMEA revenue targets by winning new business and expanding existing accounts.
* Fuel Retention: Guide our Customer Success Managers to exceed global retention goals by ensuring real, measurable value for customers.
* Channel Mastery: Collaborate directly with channel partners to accelerate software sales.
* Lead with Impact: Build and empower a high-performing, engaged team through smart hiring, strong leadership, and career development.
* Strategic Vision: Set sales strategies, define goals, analyse performance, and forecast results to deliver consistent success.
* Be the Expert: Leverage your deep understanding of government and regulated industries to offer strategic insight and trusted guidance to clients.
* Team Player: Partner with Marketing and Product teams to shape go-to-market efforts and deepen customer engagement.
* Mentor & Coach: Support and develop team members across the sales and success ecosystem.
* Continuous Improvement: Champion enhancements to our products, processes, and systems.
* Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring trends and competitors to inform decisions.
* Customer Champion: Ensure client satisfaction through proactive reviews and feedback loops.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Solution Selling, Strategic Selling, or Challenger methodologies.
* Proven leadership success in sales and/or customer success environments.
* Strong negotiation and polished communication skills-verbal and written.
* A motivational leadership style with a track record of building high-performing teams.
* Deep experience selling enterprise software to government-this is non-negotiable.
* A solid background in IT/software environments.
* Ability to translate complex needs into powerful software solutions.
* Advanced user of sales tools like Salesforce, TAS, and Scotwork
