The company is a rapidly expanding multi-site healthcare business, backed by a very reputable mid-market private equity firm, committed to providing exceptional patient care and driving growth. Currently operating 10 practices with combined revenues of £40 million, the company has ambitious plans to scale up to 30-40 sites and achieve revenues of £120 million before pursuing a strategic sale. The focus is on delivering high-quality healthcare services while strategically expanding the footprint in the market.
Role Overview:
The company is seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to scaling the finance function and driving financial performance. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Chairman, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy, supporting growth initiatives, and maximising shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partnering with the CEO and Chairman to develop and execute the financial strategy to achieve growth targets, including expanding to 30-40 sites and reaching revenues of £120 million.
* Leading and developing the finance team to ensure scalability and efficiency as the business grows, while maintaining a high standard of financial controls and compliance.
* Providing strategic financial guidance and analysis to support decision-making across the organisation, including capital allocation, investment decisions, and pricing strategies.
* Overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to drive performance and accountability.
* Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting to support business operations and enable informed decision-making.
* Leading financial due diligence and integration efforts for potential acquisitions to support the company's growth strategy.
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and compliance with financial objectives.
Requirements:
* Proven track record of success as a CFO or senior finance executive in a multi-site healthcare or related industry.
* Experience in Private Equity-backed environments and driving growth strategies through acquisitions.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and maximizing shareholder value.
