This is an incredible and unique opportunity to join an exciting firm in the private markets space.The ideal candidate will have had valuable experience in managing projects with stakeholders across private markets and keen to translate this to a commercial environment.The Role:With a mix of investing, project management and operations, responsibilities include:Driving project critical to the investment group’s senior leadership; prioritising long-term projects and take a lead as project manager on several of these projects (e.g. fund-level OKRs & strategic planning)Managing special projects and one-off analysis, such as GP waterfall models or firm-wide return analysisInitiate research that supports the partner’s broad investment theses across investment groups, and take action on recommendationsHelp build out the operational back bone of the investment group, with in-depth studying of the best managers in the market, and how we can replicate/improve their approach to HR, IT, Data, AI and reportingSupport with strategic planning and execution of fundraising initiativesFill in the gaps across strategy, deal review, diligence, reporting, portfolio management across the investment groups when senior leadership’s bandwidth is stretchedDrive strategy planning around fund level usage of data and AI in collaboration with our dedicated teamRequirements:3- 7 years’ experience in private equity industry, ideally with 2-3 years at another GP seeding firm, Fund-of-Funds, asset manager or large family office active as LPs and co-investorsExperience - Strong understanding of private equity industry, fund mechanics and investment analysisTechnical - Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, analysis, and proficiency with financial softwareCuriosity – genuine interest in research, with a demonstrated ability to be a second-order thinkerResilience - no task is too small, and you are ready to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takesTechnical abilities – proven research, analytical and modelling skillsOrganisation and communication - extraordinarily attentive to detail - the small things matter.
