We are supporting a city centre-based client in sourcing a temporary hire for their Finance Team to assist with a new system implementation. They are looking for a candidate with experience in financial reporting or systems-related work, who is immediately available and can commit to an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Supporting the development and configuration of financial reports within a new finance or practice management system, ensuring accurate delivery of management information to key stakeholders.
* Reviewing and validating data to ensure integrity and accuracy across newly implemented reports.
* Assisting in establishing and embedding a new accounts payable process, including supplier set-up, data input, and implementation of appropriate controls.
* Contributing to the design and ongoing maintenance of system security roles for the Finance function, including process documentation and administration.
* Collaborating with other Finance Teams to document updated procedures aligned with the new system.
* Providing general project support and complete ad-hoc tasks as required by senior management.
* Ensuring new processes are fully documented, incorporating key workflows and control points to reduce the risk of error or fraud.
* Supporting compliance efforts by reviewing internal controls and ensuring identified risks are appropriately mitigated through effective processes.
