Fawkes & Reece South are working with a leading regional civil engineering contractor who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor. They are working in collaboration with a private client on a large infrastructure project in the South. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a £20m civils and earthworks package.
Your role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will be to ensure that the commercial duties are being performed in line with NEC3 contracts. You will be involved in (but not limited to):
1. Accurate monthly forecasting
2. Producing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractors
3. Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
4. Managing any changes in a timely manner in accordance with the forms of contract
5. Producing, submitting and agreeing monthly applications
6. Attending weekly progress meeting with subcontractors and the client
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
1. Degree-qualified or equivalent in a Quantity Surveying subject or similar
2. Experience working on any civil engineering or groundworks related projects
3. Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
