Salary
: SCP 25–29

Contract:
Full Time (37 hours per week), Term Time + 2 weeks

Location:
Oasis Academy Brightstowe, Shirehampton, Bristol

Oasis Academy Brightstowe is seeking an Attitude to Learning Support professional to join our dedicated pastoral team. This is a key role in promoting positive behaviour, attendance, and academic progress across the Academy.

The Role
As Attitude To Learning Support, You Will

* Lead the internal suspension and patrol provision, ensuring safeguarding and effective resourcing
* Develop educational packages to reduce fixed-term suspensions and support re-engagement
* Work closely with the Inclusion and Safeguarding Teams to address emerging behaviour themes
* Support students through key transitions and unpick barriers to learning
* Maintain strong communication between the Academy, students, and families
* Contribute to pastoral meetings and anti-bullying initiatives
* Maintain accurate records using BROMCOM and CPOMS
* Support central detentions and follow-up processes

We're Looking For Someone Who

* Is an enthusiastic and effective leader and manager of young people
* Is educated to degree level and holds a DipSW, youth work or teaching qualification
* Demonstrates strong care, guidance and support for groups and individuals
* Is a competent coordinator and motivator
* Can coach, mentor and deliver training
* Shows flexibility, adaptability and excellent organisational skills
* Has emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours and attitudes
* Understands Emotional Literacy and its impact on learning
* Builds strong relationships using excellent interpersonal skills
* Has a desire to learn the most up-to-date teaching and behaviour management strategies
* Is passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of our pupils and their communities
* Is willing to model and support the Oasis ethos
