Charity People is working with a £10 million turnover NGO to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months based in East London.
The organisation's working week is 4 days, offering a salary of £62,539 for four days per week.
My client is looking for the right candidate to start early June 2025.
Salary: £62,539 for four days per week
Must have: Strong knowledge of Charity SORP and statutory accounts
Experience in: Leading system upgrade or implementation
Work arrangement: Hybrid (going to East London twice a week)
Key priorities for this role include:
* Completion of annual accounts and audit (client is in final stages)
* Coordinate financial system upgrade, working closely with the Project Manager; manage the project, which has already started and a system has been selected
* Lead payments, accounts payable, and receivable teams, including managing a relatively new team member
* Follow up on audit findings
This role will close on 4th June 2025.
