The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with various metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium, and be proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques. This role involves working on a variety of projects, from bespoke fabrications to large-scale production runs, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Perform TIG, MIG, and MMA welding on sheet metal components to exacting standards. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, guillotines, and grinders. Carry out precise cutting, shaping, and assembling of sheet metal parts. Conduct quality inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
