HGV Class 1 Driver - Responsibilities & Requirements:
* A minimum of 6 months' experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles in the UK
* A valid C+E Licence, Digi Tacho Card, and CPC Card
* No more than 6 penalty points on your licence TT, DD, or DR codes will not be considered
* Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle for timed deliveries and collections at various customer locations
* Conduct thorough pre-use vehicle checks and report any defects or safety issues promptly
* Ensure all transport is carried out in line with EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service at all times
* Complete necessary paperwork and use in-cab technology as required
* Communicate effectively with transport planners, depot staff, and customers
* Represent the company professionally on the road and on customer sites
* A sound understanding of drivers' hours legislation and health & safety compliance
* Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
* A flexible and reliable approach to working hours and shift patterns
