Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide targeted support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in various school settings.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt activities to meet students' needs.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to enhance educational and behavioral outcomes.
* Utilize strong behavior management skills to maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience with SEN or transferable skills from care, coaching, or youth work.
* Confident, resilient, and proactive approach to challenges.
* Strong behavior management skills and the ability to effectively support students.
* Passion for supporting and engaging young learners and helping them achieve their potential.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
