Male Support WorkerPay rate: £14.00 per hourShift pattern: 22 and 24 hour shifts working a day shift and sleep in shift working around 30 hours per week - 4 week rolling rota.A dedicated and compassionate Support Worker is required to provide person-centred support for an individual with Autism and Learning Disabilities living in Tamworth. This role involves supporting daily life management while promoting independence, structure, and positive routines.Please note that this role requires an average of 30 hours per week; therefore, applicants must have full rights to work in the UK without restrictions on hours & you must have a full UK drivers license with access to your own vehicle.Key Responsibilities:Supporting daily life management and organisational skillsAccompanying to activities, gym sessions, cinema trips, and outdoor visits (including National Trust properties)Supporting attendance at social outings such as meals out, while encouraging balanced lifestyle choicesAssisting with budgeting skills and promoting financial awareness to support living within agreed meansSupporting meal planning and cooking, encouraging healthy routinesProviding support around the homeWorking sensitively around daily challenges and structured schedulesRole modelling positive behaviours and decision-makingProviding mentoring supportAbout the Individual:Enjoys the outdoors, walking, gym sessions, cinema, and food/cookingHas a busy daily schedule and strong social interestsMaintains a close relationship with parentsAbout You:Have a full UK drivers license & access to your own vehicleExperience supporting individuals with Autism - RequiredCalm, patient, and able to communicate clearly and evenlyAble to take time to explain information in a supportive and structured wayStrong understanding of safeguarding and GDPR requirementsAbility to encourage independence while maintaining appropriate boundariesWho we areacuity care delivers specialist support across Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Learning Disability & Autism, and Mental Health Services.
