Join us as our Contract Manager, for our customer Cormar. You'll be reporting into our Network General Manager and within this senior leadership opportunity, you will take full ownership of the Cormar contract and drive outstanding operational performance.

You will lead from the front, championing GXO's safety vision while embedding the right behaviours, accountability and performance culture across the operation. With full responsibility for delivering operational and financial KPIs, you will inspire, develop and engage your team to create a positive, high‑performing workplace and an exceptional customer experience.

This is a full time (40 hours per week), permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday. Core location being Hemel Hempstead, with national travel to outbases.

Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £70,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a car allowance package to the value of £6,000 PA, a discretionary annual bonus of a max 15%, private medical insurance, a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Lead the delivery of GXO's safety vision, embedding the right behaviours, focus and accountability while ensuring all operational and financial KPIs are consistently achieved
* Build, engage and motivate high‑performing teams, creating a positive workplace culture through effective communication, workforce planning and colleague engagement
* Champion exceptional customer experience, working to tight deadlines, meeting service and satisfaction targets, and building strong relationships with business partners to deliver agreed SLAs
* Drive commercial and operational excellence, contributing to budget reviews with value‑added thinking and ensuring the operation delivers mutual benefit for both the customer and the business

What you need to succeed at GXO:

* Proven senior management experience within a 3PL/FMCG supply chain environment, with strong knowledge of transport and warehouse operations and rigorous service level expectations
* Commercially astute leader, experienced in open‑book budgeting and delivering measurable value through financial and operational control.
* Strong client‑facing capability, with a track record of building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels
* Inspirational, hands‑on people leader, able to motivate large teams, manage performance through KPIs, and drive quality, engagement and professionalism
* Proactive, resilient self‑starter, with the energy, flexibility and continuous‑improvement mindset required to succeed in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment
