ASW - NQ Social Worker - (up to 2 years post qualification experience) - LD Community Team
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ASW - NQ Social Worker with up to 2 years of post-qualification experience to join our Learning Disabilities Community (LD Comm) team. Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to determine their needs and eligibility for services.
* Develop and implement personalised support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
* Advocate for clients’ rights and needs, ensuring they receive appropriate resources and support.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community organisations to foster support networks.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to shared decision‑making processes.
* Stay informed about best practices and developments in the field of social work and learning disabilities to improve service delivery.
Requirements
* A recognised Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work) and up to 2 years of post‑qualification experience.
* Registration with the relevant social work regulatory body.
* Demonstrated understanding of learning disabilities and the related legislation and policies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a demanding caseload effectively.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £22.30
Location: North London, London
