Location: Kenilworth
Salary: up to £35,000 basic per annum DOE, plus overtime OTE 40k
Hours: full time Monday to Friday 8.30-5

My client is recruiting for this exciting and different position, looking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team in the Kenilworth area. Role Overview – Vehicle Technician
• Carrying out vehicle servicing and general maintenance
• Performing diagnostics and fault finding
• Brakes, suspension, clutch repairs and replacements
• Cambelt replacements
Essential Skills:
Requirements – Vehicle Technician
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a workshop environment
A first class knowledge of traditional petrol engines, in particular carburettor fuel systems and distributor type ignition systems.
▪ A first class knowledge of fault finding on traditional vehicles.
▪ A good knowledge of engine building. ▪ A general knowledge of traditional electrical, transmission, braking and suspension systems.
▪ An ability to solve technical problems with good engineering practice.
▪ An ability to work effectively within a team of four skilled technicians.
▪ Self-motivated to minimise idle time and keep jobs within estimate.
▪ A commitment to the highest quality and putting customer satisfaction above all else
• Strong mechanical skills
• A steady and reliable work history
• Minimum Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• You must also own a well-stocked toolbox
