About St Elizabeth’s Centre
Set in 60 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, St Elizabeth’s is a national charity with over 120 years of experience supporting children, young people, and adults with complex needs, including epilepsy and associated conditions. Our vibrant campus includes a non-maintained specialist School, Further Education College, residential care services, supported living, and on-site therapies and healthcare.
Our Specialist School and Sixth Form supports pupils aged 5–19 with moderate to profound and multiple learning difficulties, often accompanied by complex neurological conditions. Every day at St Elizabeth’s, we help learners Live Life to the Full through compassionate, personalised education.
We’re proud to be a values-led organisation — aspirational, collaborative, joyful and compassionate — and we’re excited to welcome a new SEN Teacher who shares our vision.

* Ability to adapt your approach to support diverse and complex learning profiles
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A reflective, positive mindset with a commitment to continuous development
If you’re currently teaching in a mainstream setting and are curious about moving into SEN, we’ll provide full training, peer mentoring, and a welcoming induction.
Why join St Elizabeth’s?
You’ll join a warm, purpose-driven team where your contribution is genuinely valued and supported. We offer:
