Principal Resourcing are seeking an inspirational Teacher of English to join one of our partnership Secondary Academies based in Leeds. You will provide full-time teaching cover for pupils across the KS3/KS4 English curriculum from September 2024, although an earlier start date may be considered. The position will initially be on a temporary basis to meet the needs of the school and has the potential to become permanent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students across Key Stage 3 and 4 to achieve their full potential. This opportunity is open to both ECTs and Experienced Teachers.
We offer competitive rates of pay up to £230, depending on your experience and the role requirements.
The ideal applicant will have:
Either:
1. A successful placement(s), teaching at KS3 & KS4 (applicants currently in training)
or:
2. A successful record of teaching with very good exam results at one or more of KS3 & KS4 (applicants who already have gained QTS).
3. A detailed knowledge of current developments in education, including the use of the Pupil Premium.
4. The ability to put vision into practice.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
6. Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
7. Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
8. An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
9. Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
