The Role
* Line manage a small finance team including oversight of payroll
* Oversee daily finance processes and internal controls
* Maintain and develop monthly accounts and the Accounts Workbook
* Use Account NI for financial transactions and reporting
* Prepare monthly governance returns and support year-end accounts
* Lead audit preparation and liaise with internal and external auditors
The Person
As the successful candidate, you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
* Qualified accounts technician
* Experience in financial accounting or audit
* Line management experience
In addition to the standard pre-employment checks, this position will also be subject to enhanced clearance.
