Key Responsibilities
As part of this role, you will:
* Ensure product and services are compliant with environmental regulations and legislation within our North West Europe Market, with your main focus supporting compliance needs in the UK
* Track, influence and ensure compliance with legislative requirements on various iniatatives
* Keep internal teams aware of these changes by relaying the relevant requirements to our product development business units.
* Co-ordinate and attend meetings with industry associations key stakeholders and policy makers.
* Be a trusted advisor in the policy making process and use your understanding of environmental policy to help shape constructive policy proposals.
* Support local sales and marketing teams, our channel partners and our customers
* Locally support our clients community initiatives, to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work.
Your profile
* Passion for sustainability and drive to make a positive difference.
* Bachelors/Master's degree or equivalent experience
* Knowledge and experience of understanding environmental policy requirements.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Advocacy / influencing skills - rallying support from internal and external stakeholders to deliver on our objectives.
* Enthusiasm, ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage fluid situations, then prioritize and take action with calm and efficiency, working at a fast pace in a flexible manner.
* Strong team-working skills.
