My Client is recruiting for a Service Engineer in the Water Sector.
Location: Field-based, mostly covering Woking, Surrey, Slough areas.
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours a week. Company vehicle + Fuel card + Overtime.
What will you be doing?
* On-Site Maintenance: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, including commissioning, upgrades, and refurbishments.
* Technical Support: Provide after-sales technical and commercial support to clients, gathering feedback to assist future product development.
* Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering recommendations to enhance system reliability and productivity.
* Troubleshooting and Fault Finding: Hands‑on resolution of challenges to keep systems running smoothly.
* On-Call Flexibility: Flexible approach to customers' needs and working hours, may include weekends and public holidays. Join the 'On-Call Rota' to support clients when they need it most.
Experience and Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Service Engineer in the municipal market. Knowledge of sewage and drinking water treatment sites.
* NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering (or similar). Working towards qualification is acceptable.
* Strong client‑facing communication skills, experience engaging with clients, offering solutions, and handling challenging conversations.
* Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
* Punctual, presentable individual who values customer satisfaction and strives to provide best‑in‑class service.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
