Key responsibilities
As part of this senior leadership role, you will:
10. Lead the kitchen operation as Head Chef, setting standards and direction
11. Work closely with kitchen gardeners to influence seasonal menu development
12. Champion relationships with local farmers and small producers
13. Deliver consistently high-end, fresh food with strong attention to detail
14. Oversee the food offering at a small deli operation in Southampton
15. Develop, motivate and retain a productive and passionate kitchen team
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who brings quality, credibility and passion:
16. Proven experience as a Head Chef within a hotel, rosette or high-end setting
17. A strong background in fully fresh food – no large brands or bought-in products
18. Experience working in some of Hampshire or Dorset’s best kitchens
19. A hands-on, produce-led Chef with a natural leadership style
20. Passion for seasonality, foraging and sustainable cooking
