Position Overview
Clinical Trials Administrator – Cancer Theme, Cambridge Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU).
Non‑patient facing role supporting a team of >40 members. The administrator will assist in the provision of high‑quality clinical trials by working within the coordination team where required.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and maintain clinical trial files, including archiving and sample tracking.
* Enter clinical trial data and manage data entry onto computer databases.
* Assist teams with general administrative support such as meeting minutes, filing, printing and post.
* Receive, track, check and generate queries for trial samples and data.
* Support experienced trial teams by providing backup and ensuring adherence to nationally agreed standards.
Qualifications
* Well‑organised with strong administrative experience.
* Interest in research and an office‑based work environment.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a large coordination team.
Additional Information
Internal applicants on permanent contracts can apply only as a secondment with line‑manager approval; fixed‑term employees may apply for a fixed‑term position.
