The role is varied, and the salary structure reflects this, ranging from £34,000 for a Level 1 ICA Technician up to £47,680 for a Top Engineer. And that is just your basic salary!
The role comes with an expectation to contribute to a standby roster, 1 week in 6. This standby will boost your income, along with any casual overtime for those who want it. There is also the potential to earn an annual bonus, where both you and the business achieve annual objectives.
The role is split across two bands ICA Technician and ICA Engineer. We have development plans for both roles, which provides a clear structure of how you progress to the next level at each stage.
What the job entails.
If you have a keen interest in working with electronics, instrumentation, control philosophy for sites and a keen eye for attention to detail, with the qualifications to back this up, we would love to hear from you.
Duties will include but aren’t limited to routine maintenance, reactive repair, fault diagnosis, modification, installation and upgrading systems. Some of the systems that you will be responsible for include control and monitoring of flow, level, pressure, temperature, and chemical analysers.
You will be able to understand, interpret and edit parameters and settings to maintain, repair and modify systems of local and remote-control systems including telemetry, radio, programmable logic controllers and computer-based SCADA systems.

Who do we want?
We are keen to hear from applicants with ICA experience, you will need to have completed the following qualifications in a relevant field: ONC, NVQ level 3 or equivalent and a time-served apprenticeship and have a good understanding of instrumentation, control and automation processes.
You must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
