We're partnering with a well-established planning and development consultancy in Liverpool that’s looking to grow its team with a confident and enthusiastic graduate or early-career planner.
Whether you’ve recently completed your planning degree or already have some practical experience under your belt, this is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team working on a diverse mix of projects across the North West and beyond.

🌆 The Role:
You’ll work closely with experienced planners and directors, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the planning process. This includes preparing planning applications, conducting site appraisals, supporting community consultation, and liaising with local authorities and clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
* Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications
* Conducting policy research and site assessments
* Assisting with appeals, planning statements, and design & access statements
* Helping manage project timelines and client communications
* Working towards MRTPI accreditation with full mentoring support

âś… What We're Looking For:
* A degree (or postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or related field
* Ideally 6–18 months of planning experience (internships or placement year welcomed)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
* Knowledge of the UK planning system and local policy (North West familiarity is a bonus)
