Office Administrator Rate: £16 per hour Contract Length: 3 Months Location: Whitley – Full Time Office Based HSBC is seeking a proactive and organised Office Administrator to support day-to-day administrative operations within a busy financial services environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or customer service professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about delivering high-quality support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operational processes, maintaining accurate records, supporting colleagues, and providing excellent service to both internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities Printing account information and distributing documentation to customers or internal departments where required Investigating and resolving administrative issues, escalating where appropriate in line with company procedures Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members and assisting with cross-team collaboration Building and maintaining positive working relationships across the business Supporting team objectives and assisting colleagues to achieve operational goals Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all procedures and compliance standards are followed Taking ownership of customer interactions and aiming to resolve queries at the first point of contact Managing workload effectively and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines Skills & Experience Required Previous experience within an administrative and/or customer service role, ideally within a financial services environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills with a professional and structured approach Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and support the development of others If you feel you have the relevant experience and would like to hear more about this opportunity, please contact: mohammed.wasim@tapfin.com
