An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Housing Service where you will work as a Modern Apprentice Plumber within the Construction Trades. Your duties will include visiting tenants' premises to carry out repairs, bathroom adaptations, and heating & boiler replacements; working on capital investment sites, such as new builds and kitchen and bathroom refurbishments. You will learn to work according to all the Council Standards, including Health & Safety and Customer Service, and carry out other duties as required for the Service. As a Modern Apprentice, you will work towards the Plumbing & Heating Modern Apprenticeship SCQF Level 7 and undertake relevant training.
You should be aged 16-19 (or a 2025 official summer leaver) and demonstrate enthusiasm for this role and a commitment to learning. Training will be provided at Forth Valley College.
This opportunity is funded through the Modern Apprenticeship scheme. Candidates aged 20-29 may be eligible for enhanced funding if they have a disability or are care experienced.
