We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our home store team in Swindon so we could be the perfect match!
Role Overview
As an Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager with the day to day running of the store and take full responsibility in their absence.
Inspiring and supporting staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values. Assistant Store Managers contribute towards the success of their stores by:
* Ensuring highest standard of customer service
* Achieving targets
* Maintaining a high standard of visual merchandising
* Maximising sales through physical and digital channels
* Supporting recruitment and development of volunteers
* Achieving expectations within campaign activities
* Working with the manager to generate stock
Our stores are fast-paced and trade 7 days a week, requiring flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Due to the volume of collections, deliveries and donations, the role can be physically demanding, yet rewarding as you help fund life‑saving research.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in a customer facing role
* Supervisory experience
* Commercially driven with a willingness to encourage new ideas
* Inclusive approach to developing teams
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving the highest retail standards
* Results driven but with recognition of the right result, right way
