Red Kite School, Buckinghamshire HP27 0JW. Red Kite School forms part of the Acorn Education brand, an independent specialist day school supporting young people aged 11‑18.
Salary
£50,000 – £60,000 DOE plus a £5,000 Welcome Bonus. The Bonus is payable as one payment of £2,500 after completing one month and a second payment of £2,500 upon completing the final probation period (T&C apply).
Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Contract
Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full‑time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances).

The role
We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in‑house Clinical Team at Red Kite School, based in Buckinghamshire. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead, clinically leading the team while holding a therapy caseload. Responsibilities include delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles arising from autism, neuro‑divergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH needs. Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus, supported through the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’, and ‘individual’ clinical approaches. The lead will coordinate line management of onsite team members and drive service development alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Essential Criteria
* Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy, or registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
* Valid and up‑to‑date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g. BPS).
* Experience within the specialist client group, working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to work dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred.
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
