Salary: £30,000 per annum | Hours: 38 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated Goods In Controller to oversee all incoming deliveries and stock management at our hotel. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth flow of supplies, supporting operational efficiency, and enhancing guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery Management: Receive, inspect, and log all goods delivered, ensuring compliance with orders and standards.
2. Quality Control: Check the condition of incoming items, reporting discrepancies or damages promptly.
3. Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and supplier details.
4. Communication: Coordinate with departments such as kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure timely supply delivery.
5. Cost Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages and support cost-saving measures.
6. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards in handling and storing goods.
7. Supplier Relationships: Work closely with suppliers to maintain delivery standards and resolve shipment issues.
Candidate Profile:
* Attention to Detail: Precision in stock records and delivery inspections.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple deliveries and maintain accurate inventory.
* Communication Skills: Effective collaboration across departments.
* Problem Solving: Proactively address delivery or stock issues.
* Experience: Previous experience in stock, warehouse, or logistics roles preferred, especially within hospitality or retail sectors.
