You’ll have the opportunity to learn the art of designing stunning, user-friendly websites while collaborating with our talented team and playing a key role in applying content throughout the design and development stages. This role is perfect for someone eager to build their skills and knowledge in website design while completing a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Hybrid (Minimum of 3 days a week at our Retford location)

What the role involves
1. Designing visually engaging and responsive websites using Figma
2. Creating prototype links to present designs to clients and developers
3. Collaborating with the development team to hand over website designs for build
4. Testing and reviewing websites to identify and resolve any snags, ensuring they’re ready for launch
5. Working closely with design and development teams to bring client visions to life
6. Learning how to design responsive layouts that perform seamlessly across all devices
7. Conducting market analysis, customer research, usage analytics, and gathering feedback
8. Developing sitemaps, wireframes, user flows, process flows, and prototypes
9. Executing all visual design stages, from initial concept to final delivery
10. Designing lead generation and eCommerce websites
11. Rolling out designs and applying content in Figma based on the approved templates
12. Working with the development team to upload and populate content in WordPress
13. Designing single page websites and landing pages and optimising for performance
What we’re looking for
1. A passion for web design and a creative eye for detail
2. Basic knowledge of design tools (Figma or similar) is a plus, but not essential
3. Familiarity with WordPress and page builders like Elementor or WP Bakery, but not essential
4. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
5. A willingness to learn, grow, and take on feedback
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
