About the Role
We seek a confident, high-performing individual to support Group finance in analyzing Ostomy-related data and information, aiding strategic decision-making. The role involves financial analysis, sales channel review, revenue and margin analysis, variance reporting, KPI development, and producing management reports. The position covers work related to Pelican Healthcare Ltd, RespondHealthcare Ltd, TG Eakin Ltd, and international subsidiaries.
Key Activities
* Ensure compliance with financial control systems and procedures
* Support financial planning and analysis activities
* Partner with Ostomy area managers
* Produce sales revenue and margin reports
* Manage reporting for various subsidiaries
* Analyze distribution efficiency, including transport and warehousing costs
* Support sales and operations planning (S&OP)
* Create visual business metrics and KPIs
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
* Analyze overheads and costs, ensuring alignment with revenue
* Report on sampling costs and ROI
* Champion process standardization and continuous improvement
* Support month-end and year-end processes
* Collaborate with wider finance, HR, and commercial teams
Key Skills
Essential:
* Working towards or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
* Experience in commercial finance
* Proficiency in data analytics and metrics reporting
* Strong communication skills with a business partnering approach
* Excellent IT skills, including Excel and PowerBI
* Attention to detail and efficiency
* Knowledge of modern management accounting practices
* Leadership in process improvement and controls
* Self-motivated and confident
Desirable:
* Experience in manufacturing finance roles
* Sage X3 familiarity
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working Relationships
Internal: Finance team, Chief Commercial Officer, Ostomy management team, IT team, managers, and staff.
External: Auditors, software providers, and external stakeholders.
Additional Information
This role can be based in Comber or Cardiff, with occasional travel to other sites.
