Role Description: Health & Safety Manager
Are you an ambitious and proactive Health & Safety professional looking to make a significant impact? We're seeking a Health & Safety Manager to champion our safety culture and ensure the well-being and productivity of our team across designated areas of our organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a vibrant, easy-going personality who is eager to develop their expertise in Health & Safety management. You'll be instrumental in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our health and safety standards, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* H&S Management System: Implement and maintain robust health and safety management systems.
* Legal & Risk Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with all health and safety legislation and effectively manage risks.
* Incident & Accident Management: Lead on incident investigation, reporting, and preventative measures.
* H&S Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver engaging health and safety training programs to foster a proactive safety culture.
* Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Health & Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health.
* NEBOSH / IOSH certification is essential.
* Demonstrable experience in safety training and developing engaging programs.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
* A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is beneficial, however, we highly value time-served experience in the field.
