Production Coordinator Location: Holmewood Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Job Type: Full-time (Temp to Perm) Pay Rate: £13.73 per hour Main Purpose of the Role You will support the Production and Operations team by planning work, tracking materials, managing schedules, and helping control costs. The aim is to keep production running smoothly and ensure orders are delivered on time and to the correct quality standards. Key Responsibilities Planning & Coordination Create and manage weekly production plans Work with team leaders to ensure enough staff are available Help make sure all orders are completed on time Stock & Logistics Manage subcontract processes (e.g. galvanising) Raise purchase orders and track deliveries Book materials in and monitor stock movement Reporting & Administration Record production time sheets in Excel Produce reports for management Track performance (efficiency, delays, quality) Order Management Process purchase orders and confirmations Monitor orders to ensure materials arrive on time General Support Upload and manage documents (delivery notes, PODs, etc.) Provide phone cover when needed Support audits and general administration tasks Skills & Experience Required Essential 2 years' experience in production, logistics, or admin (manufacturing preferred) Good English and Maths skills Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel & Outlook) Desirable Experience using Sage Previous manufacturing experience Key Skills & Qualities Well organised and good at planning Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong communication skills Good problem-solving and data analysis skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Able to work independently and in a team What They're Looking For Someone who: Takes ownership and gets things done Works well with others Is reliable, honest, and proactive Pays attention to detail If you are looking for your next significant role within a well established company then click apply CHE01
