Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on individual to join our team as a General Handy Person, Delivery Driver, and Property Maintenance Operative. This varied role involves delivering and assembling furniture in customers' homes, carrying out light property maintenance tasks, and supporting warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to customers' homes and properties.
* Assemble and install furniture on-site to a high standard.
* Carry out general property maintenance and repairs (e.g. painting, minor plumbing, joinery, and basic electrical work).
* Support warehouse operations, including loading/unloading stock, organising inventory, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and property visits.
* Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order.
* Follow all health and safety and manual handling procedures.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).
* Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in furniture assembly, property maintenance, or a similar trade.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
* Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
