Cherrybrook Care Home is looking for full-time, part-time, and bank care assistants. The role is all about being kind, gentle, and supportive, offering comfort and reassurance to people who need help with their daily lives. Cherrybrook Care Home is a beautifully designed, 120-bedded home in Bradford, split across two specialist units. Cherrybrook supports individuals with complex mental health needs, dementia, and behaviours that challenge and we do so with compassion, structure and warmth.
This role is based at: Cherrybrook Care Home, 580 Sticker Ln, Bradford, BD4 8RD.

Main Responsibilities
• Support with personal care such as washing, dressing, and helping residents feel comfortable.
• Assist with meals and daily tasks while encouraging dignity and independence.
• Provide companionship through conversation, reassurance, and spending time with residents.
• Help with mobility including moving safely and staying active.
• Keep care records accurate by noting daily support and any changes in residents’ needs.
Essential Skills
• Relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate.
• Care experience of 6–12 months in a care home, ideally supporting older people or those with dementia.
• Calm, caring attitude with a genuine passion for helping others.
