About the Role
As an Early Careers Development Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future for our Early Careers (EC) cohorts. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing a delivery portfolio of new entrant development programmes.
* Conducting analysis, planning, and designing training programmes.
* Delivering and evaluating training while providing individual learning and pastoral support.
* Facilitating stakeholder governance groups.
Reporting to the Early Careers Manager, you’ll be part of a small but mighty team, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to successfully deliver our development programmes across Drax. Your structured learning and development programmes will guide learners through their journey, ensuring they receive regular, impartial 1-2-1 support throughout their development.
This is a home-based role with regular travel to Selby, London, and Ipswich, where our early careers learners are based. Occasional travel to Scotland will also be required, so a driving licence and flexibility to travel are essential.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with a passion for early careers and development! While previous experience in Early Careers or learning and development is desirable, what truly matters is your ability to:
* Confidently liaise and manage a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Plan and coordinate learning programmes effectively.
* Deliver engaging training sessions to graduates, interns, apprentices, and work experience cohorts.
If you have experience with skills and apprenticeship models and funding, that would be a bonus!
