What You'll Be Doing
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Healthcare Category Team, as a Category Manager. We're looking for someone who loves the buzz of retail, enjoys shaping great customer experiences, and knows how to bring out the best in a team. In this role, you'll guide the growth of one of our key categories, making sure we stand out in the market and continue to deliver what our customers genuinely need and care about.
What You'll Be Doing
Creating smart, inspiring growth plans that help our category thrive and feel truly different in the market
Owning the strategic direction of the category and making sure plans land brilliantly
Building strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers so we can offer customers the very best
Work with our amazing own brand team do drive and deliver innovative products
Using every trading lever available to keep the P&L in great shape
Staying close to our customers understanding what they want today and what
Leading with energy and empathy, supporting your team through the fast pace and natural ups and downs of trading
Key responsibilities
You'll work closely with some of our biggest supplier partners, including Reckitt, Haleon and Kenvue, while also taking the lead on the Joint Business Plan with Perrigo, one of the largest healthcare suppliers in our portfolio, providing both proprietary and own brand ranges. It's a chance to build strong, collaborative relationships and shape plans that deliver real value for our customers and our business.
What You'll Need To Have (our Must-haves)
The ideal candidate for this role would thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the right balance of strategic thinking, agility and ambition. This role requires fantastic cross-functional working, relationship building and prioritisation, to enable the team to maximise all opportunities, as well as supporting in the management of JBPs, and building a support network from internal cross functional teams.
The Ideal candidate will be organised, self-driven, operationally excellent and able to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
