Role Overview
As Lead, Strategic Subcontracts, you will oversee the entire supplier agreement lifecycle for a significant business unit within Commercial Aviation Solutions. Your responsibilities include identifying risk gaps with stakeholders, negotiating and managing supplier agreements, and helping establish strategic objectives, playing a crucial role in shaping the supply chain strategy.

Essential Functions
* Leading the end-to-end subcontract management process supporting the business.
* Managing the Pre-Award phase, including strategy development and negotiations.
* Executing subcontract phases: definitization, award, change and risk management, and close-out.
* Managing various agreements across UK, USA, and internationally.
* Analyzing data to report subcontract status to management.
* Developing innovative solutions for complex agreement issues.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to optimize agreements.
* Implementing risk mitigation strategies for performance and pricing of strategic agreements.
* Working independently with minimal supervision.
* Traveling as needed to negotiate and engage with suppliers.
