THE ROLE:
We are excited to have an opportunity for an experienced, people-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Pollen Kampus.
As a Pollen AM you will very much be a face of our brand, working closely with the Area GM and our senior management to support our front of house teams, making sure they are motivated, engaged and have everything they need to deliver the warm, engaging and efficient service which brings our products and spaces to life.
You will lead your teams confidently from the front and by example, personifying our shared behaviours and values: warm approachability, inclusivity, an eye for detail and a passion for prioritising quality in absolutely everything we do.
As AM, you will oversee and manage the daily mechanics of our cafe operations and every aspect of our customer journey, inspiring the same exacting standards and passion across our front of house teams that our Pollen production teams pour into our products, and striving to ensure every guest leaves us feeling valued and well cared for.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
* Leading day-to-day operations and service in our busy cafe, inspiring and motivating your team to deliver genuine and warm service and empowering your team to share feedback and ideas to keep us evolving
* Building and driving growth across your team having a hand in everything from recruitment, onboarding and induction of newer team members to driving and delivering wider ongoing team development
* Compliance management: overseeing and ensuring our teams confidently work in adherence to food safety standards/regulations and Pollen process
* Inventory management, overseeing product ordering and production in line with sales projections and patterns
ABOUT YOU:
* Minimum 1 years experience in a service-led hospitality management role
* Passionate about delivering genuine hospitality to your team and customers
* Driven by development and progression, both for your team and yourself
* Clear and confident communicator, quick to share honest feedback and praise
* Calm, positive and comfortable leading high volume service
* Lover of early mornings and all good things bread, pastry and coffee
