Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our pool of talented educators in the Kirklees area. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a dynamic teacher with a deep understanding of the Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, Religious Studies, and other relevant social sciences. Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Humanities subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
* Differentiate learning materials to meet the needs of all students, including those with additional educational needs.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
* Promote a positive learning environment that encourages respect, curiosity, and critical thinking.
* Participate in extracurricular activities, school meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
* A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities subjects.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
* A commitment to continuous professional development.
* Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level is preferred, but NQTs are encouraged to apply.
