Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Team Leader Children's Home, located in the Liverpool Area. The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities in the children's home, ensuring the well-being and safety of the young people. Duties include creating and implementing care plans, supervising staff, providing guidance and support to the young people, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves liaising with relevant professionals and agencies to ensure a comprehensive support system for each resident.
Requirements
* Experience in Residential Childcare
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Ability to develop and implement care plans and policies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection regulations
* Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationships
* Relevant qualifications in social work, child care, or related field
* Ability to work 2 on 4 off with evenings and weekend on call duties
