SEND Teaching Assistant - Specialist Resource Provision (SRP)
Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join a well-resourced Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) within a welcoming mainstream primary school in Enfield, starting January 2026.
The SRP supports pupils with a range of cognitive learning needs, providing structured routines, tailored interventions, and small-group teaching in a calm, nurturing environment. This role is ideal for compassionate and proactive individuals who are passionate about supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with cognitive learning needs
Support differentiated lessons and personalised learning plans
Encourage confidence, independence, and positive social interaction
Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and the wider school team to deliver targeted interventions
Help maintain an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with SEND in a school, SRP, or similar setting
A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to learning support
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of learning difficulties, autism, and/or speech and language needs
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
