Location: HMP Maidstone
Salary: £38,333.37 - £41,818.21
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 39hrs
We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Maidstone, a CATEGORY C & Adult Male prison.

HMP Maidstone operates like a self-contained town, requiring many staff to keep it functioning. Our Facilities Maintenance Team is committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.
As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, other Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all focused on making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking an Electrician with:
* Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including NVQs and assessments (AM2/AM2S), e.g., 2367 or 2357
* Two years' experience as a fully qualified electrician
* Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
* Knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
