About the Role:
• Provide 1:1 support for a largely non -verbal child with ASD
• Assist with classwork access through personalised support strategies
• Deliver care with dignity – including intimate care and regular personal hygiene routines
• Build a trusting, consistent relationship with the child to promote social and emotional development
Requirements
• Previous experience supporting children with ASD in a school setting
• Confidence and willingness to support intimate care needs
• Empathy, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with teaching staff and parents
