Job Title: Registered Children's Home Manager Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Location: Rotherham Home Size: 1 bed This provider is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead a small, specialized care service in Rotherham. In return, we offer an attractive benefits package including: • Competitive salary of £50,000 to £65,000 per annum • £5,000 welcome bonus • 10% annual bonus • Casual dress code • Company events and social activities • Generous pension scheme • 28 days annual leave • Opportunities for career development and progression • Attendance and Ofsted performance bonuses As the Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for: • Establishing and developing a new, innovative children's residential service • Managing and fostering a cohesive, high-performing staff team • Setting and reviewing ambitious targets and objectives for the care team • Promoting collaborative, partnership-based practices with young people and their families • Ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for the children in placement The ideal candidate will possess: • Minimum of 2 years' experience in staff supervision and management • At least 2 years' relevant experience in residential childcare, preferably as a Deputy Manager • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare • Full clean driving license • Proven ability to provide consistent, nurturing care and support to young people • Experience working with children displaying challenging behaviours • Flexibility to cover shifts as needed This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people within an established, expanding organization.
