Your Role:
As a Finance Manager – Reporting, based in Henley-on-Thames, you will be responsible for financial reporting for Invesco entities in the EMEA region, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements and reports. You will collaborate with global finance teams, including GBS, Group Reporting, Tax, and Treasury, with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, IFRS, and US GAAP in financial reporting.
* Support statutory financial statements and board reporting, including analytical reviews.
* Work with the EMEA Regulatory Reporting team to meet regulatory requirements.
* Identify and support resolution of unusual transactions or business issues.
* Assist in implementing new accounting standards.
* Monitor financial and operational risks, and work with teams to mitigate them.
* Ensure effective controls over financial reporting and develop new controls as needed.
* Oversee GBS performance against KPIs and provide coaching to team members.
* Manage relationships with external auditors and support EMEA audit processes.
* Promote Invesco’s culture, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and conduct principles.
* Act as the primary contact for financial results within the region and engage stakeholders to resolve queries.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Detailed knowledge of IFRS (essential).
* Knowledge of US GAAP (preferred).
* Experience with international financial regulations and statutory reporting in EMEA (preferred).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Current membership of a professional accounting body (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
* Post-qualification experience, ideally within the Big 4 accounting firms.
